A:
1) People (from Singapore) who speak Singlish and have dialects.
2) Yes, it is important to have a national identity.
3) Foreigners' opinion: Some people in Singapore don't really speak proper English.
4) Our personality contributes to the Singaporean identity.
5) Yes, i am proud of being a Sinagporean because we have our own "language"! Which is Singlish.

2) Yes, an identity makes us part of the society we live in. Makes us a responsible part of the community and makes us accountable citizens/people living within the society.

5) Yes, we are known for our thrift, hardwork, honesty, cleanliness, politeness...
6) Not really, but it certainly takes many years to acquire it, it takes assimilation. Some foreigners keep to themselves and refuse to assimilate, so it is difficult for them to acquire the Singaporean identity. Also, they tend to leave when hard times come and then return when good times come - they are not commited.
